christmas really christmas?
hello again.. whoever actually reads this blog tat is under visited..=( well its christmas time again. well its kinda my last christmas as a civlian for a long long time...hmmm nothing much to it.. it juz seems like another "non-event" this yr for me..many things seems to be very unimportatnt to me at the moment.. when dere is so much more meaningful and urgent things tat needs to be done..hmm..the world is selfish and i duno.. well spore is like tat.. it seems like every one is caring abt themselves...is buying presents really done with the rite attitude of blessing others? not getting anithing in return?everything is abt benefit to ourselves...clearly evident at the SGB i went for over the past few daes.. where pple grumbled and whined over their have-nots.. while the pple we were packing for are hoping and praying tat they can tide thru the next yr on the hand outs..even then i feel tat many needy sporeans are needy but are still rather fortunate to be living in spore.. compare them to otehrs like sae in thailand where there are no handouts wat so ever...
then wat are we to do? i say be grateful and thank God tat u haf so much.. i want this and tat? come on.. there's more to life then juz material wants...everything in spore todae is abt myself and how i can benefit. juz observe.. no one helps others animore..to get nothing in return.. even charities have lucky draws and prizes.. yes given that Christmas is a pagan festival and the tree is the sign of pagan worship of trees and the star well.. being a pentagram like thingy...hmm.. yes it is a pagan festival..no God aniwhere..but still.. the self centredness of the world todae is most evident during this season...wat have u done to bless others there few days?
