Can Singapore ever be successful at international sporting events?
well.. tat was the dumb qn i did for my gp essay.hmm. wel.. in tat particular essay.. i said YES! they can..well i guess i juz haf to take back wat i said. i mean wah..i like praise the govt like super alot la.. sae all their policies such as the sports sch crap can nurture future stars..dotx..then wah.. like as if the increased media attention and the changing mindsets of the popn will ever cause singapore to transform into some michael phelps or david beckham producing country liddat.. bleh...
okok..i'll admit it.. super super disappointed..i was like at tuition and the whole dae todae cannot concentrate.. wanted to watch susilo play.. wah ex ac boy leh.. sure support rite?hmm..well so sad.. wanted to cry... he did not win..but quite amusing to see like busloads of pple watching the game so intently. hahaa..i mean like i watched the whole thing on the bus la.. and like while i was changing bus.. all the sbs busses tat passed by.. everysingle one on the bus had their heads turn and fixed on the small tv moblie console..haha...GO SINGAPORE!!! hmm..its like a bond...H-bond or disulphide bond la.. its like we all noe we are sporeans. and we support our fellow country man..
hmm.. i tot so la.. like all sporeans so supportive.. then like after he was demolished in the 2nd game.. this old man next to me tapped my shoulder and asked..:"eh friend... so izzit singapore out?" then i nodded.. then he said "yeah la.. expected" wah lao. i almost died la..so yeah hiding all my disappointment and trying to look as bo chup as possible i smiled and hehe.. entertained his comment..hmm...so sad.. singapore will nvr succed...other angmohs will always be more tua chiak...more talented..more mentally prepared..haiiz...so disappointing...
ok its getting late.. hope li jia wei wins!!! and the zhang xue ling also. =P hehe.. hm. sianz.. it ink i go liaoz.. got maths paper tmr.. nitez. !
